ABC has cancelled No Ordinary Family. Unfortunately, the show, which on paper sounded promising never managed to find a decent sized audience and so the end of season 1, will also be the end of the series.

ABC has also decided that it has had enough of V. It was a surprise to some that it was renewed for a second series but it still hasn't managed to gain a big enough following to continue.

It seems that NBC has also given up on one of its shows as they have cancelled The Event. As ratings continue to slide, it has been announced that the first season will also be its last. However, there is the possibility that it will return as negotiations are underway for the show to be picked up by another studio. So, watch this space.

David Tennant is to marry Georgia Moffett on New Year's Day 2012. That will mean that the daughter of the fifth Doctor (Georgia is Peter Davison's daughter) will be marrying the tenth Doctor. David and Georgia met on the set of Doctor Who when she played his daughter in the episode entitled, funnily enough "The Doctor's Daughter". Talk about keep it in the family!
