Charmed is the tale of three sisters, Prue, Piper and Phoebe Halliwell who couldn't be farther apart until the fateful day when their grandma dies and they are handed a magical legacy. Upon discovering the Book of Shadows in the attic they find that they are not ordinary young women but powerful good witches as described in the prophecy of the Charmed Ones. The prophecy looked like it might be incorrect when Prue is killed.
