Doctor Who

Although the new season of Doctor Who is the 27th, it marks the first regular Doctor Who TV series for fifteen years. And, as such there is a whole load of people out there who have probably never heard of Doctor Who let alone watched it. Personally I grew up with The Doctor being played by John Pertwee and then of course Tom Baker. I kind of lost interest after that. The current audience for Doctor Who have grown up knowing Star Wars, Stagate, Star Trek and other effects laden movies and TV series. Therefore, in order to satisfy this new audience, the new Doctor Who does incorporate some great special effects, the like of which have never been seen in a Doctor Who series before. However, with Russell T. Davies at the helm, there is some great story telling here too.
