Those people in the know can hire 'Actives', providing they have enough money. The actives are people who have various pasts but pasts they care to forget. The Dollhouse gives them that opportunity.

For a period of five years the actives bodies and minds belong the the Dollhouse. The actives can be programmed to be whatever the client wants them to be and to do whatever the client wants them to do. Any personality, any skill can be programmed. The actives can become spies, lovers or assassins and when the mission is over, they are de-programmed and remember nothing. |
