Shalimar is sent to bring in another feral mutant, Donna, who declines to join Mutant X. Donna then goes berserk, attacking a pick-up artist and then disappears. Salimar, sent to investigate Donna's apartment, meets Richard Saunders, another "feral" mutant and a researcher at Genomax. It's lust at first sight. Meanwhile, Saunders' employers, led by Karen Bell, find out he's using Genomax facilities to come up with a "cure" for the mutant gene-procedure. Donna was one test subject, and was killed by the faulty serum. Saunders decides to "cure" himself of his mutation, and starts dying. Bell tries to capture Saunders, but Mutant X defeats her and Eckhart punishes her for her failure by making her another test subject. Saunders dies, leaving a remorseful Shalimar. In the sub-plot, Emma sets out to prove her worthiness to the team by using her powers to one-up Jesse and Brennan |
